Verification

Every certificate, checkable by anyone

A V-Cert certificate is only worth what a buyer can confirm without asking you. Every certificate carries a number and a QR code, and both lead to the same place: that certificate, on the V-Cert certificate portal — no account, no fee, no email to us.

The number is four parts — CC-TT-MMYY-SSSS — country, mark, month and year of first issue, serial. It looks like US-V-0926-0001.

How to check a certificate

Some scopes aren’t ours — GFCO-mandated retail programs, or buyers requiring on-site audits. We’ll tell you before you pay anything. The plain list

Put your claim on the record.

Your certificate goes on the record the day it’s issued — checkable by anyone, free, for as long as it stands.

We disqualify ourselves out loud
If a desk review — or V-Cert itself — is not the right fit for your scope, we say so at the quote stage.
